I’ve created an arduino-powered controller for my first hydroponic garden. You see, I know nothing about plants. But, I figured if I could control their environment enough, perhaps I could make something happen. This setup tracks eight different variables in my garden and alerts me with a text message if any sensor is out of range. It’s also sending all the data it gathers to my web server for later analysis.
Finally, recent readings are displayed at TheSmartGardenProject.com/live where I can check on my garden anytime, from anywhere with a cell signal or internet access.
